In this work the thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) of particleboard s treated with fire retardants (waterglass, ammonium sulfate, ammonium hydrogen phosphate and a mixture of chemicals containing ammonium sulfate, ammonium hydrogen phosphate, borax and boric acid) was studied. The TGA showed that fire retardants altered the reaction of thermal decomposition of particleboards.
